This is the front space of the periscope show at the castlemaine state festival.
The black room behind my red satin cross contains the work.
Projection and sound through a stack of black mattresses.
On a five minute loop.
Sounds simple, but some visitors leave the space in tears are visibly moved, so the attendants tell me.
I was planning the work to be gobsmacking but not on this level.
Trying to film it for those who cannot be there will be difficult, but I will give it a go in the next few days.
